Malevolent Gaming Terms of Service

Rules Apply To All Servers and Services

1. Respectful Behavior

  • Treat all community members, staff, and players with respect.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Disagreements are allowed, but they must be expressed civilly. Personal attacks are strictly prohibited.

2. Usernames, Character Names, and Guild Names

  • All usernames, character names, guild names, and forum handles must be appropriate for all ages.
  • Offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate names are prohibited. Violations may result in warnings, renaming, or bans.

3. No Exploiting, Cheating, or Unauthorized Tools

  • Using exploits, bugs, hacks, cheats, automation tools, or bots on any MMO server is prohibited.
  • Report any discovered bugs or exploits immediately to staff through the proper channels.
  • Unauthorized manipulation of accounts, characters, or assets will result in penalties, including possible permanent bans.

4. No Advertising or Spamming

  • Advertising other Discord servers, private servers, or commercial products is prohibited unless approved by staff.
  • Excessive spamming, flooding, repeated messages, or off-topic posts are not allowed.
  • Keep posts and chats relevant to the topic of the channel or forum section.

5. Civil Discussion & Appropriate Content

  • Avoid political debates, religious arguments, or other controversial topics unrelated to the community/game.
  • Do not post NSFW content, illegal material, or links to harmful websites.
  • Memes, jokes, and casual conversation are allowed as long as they remain safe and respectful.

6. Staff Authority

  • Staff decisions are final regarding moderation, rule enforcement, and account penalties.
  • Follow instructions from moderators and admins at all times.
  • Appeals can be submitted through the appropriate channels, but reversal is not guaranteed.

7. Reporting Issues

  • Use designated support channels or forms to report bugs, exploits, harassment, or technical issues.
  • Do not publicly call out players or staff; let staff handle investigations privately.
  • Provide accurate and complete information when reporting issues to help resolve them efficiently.

8. Privacy and Personal Information

  • Do not share your own or others’ personal information (real names, addresses, social media, etc.).
  • Doxxing or unauthorized disclosure of personal information will result in immediate bans.

9. Community Content

  • Posts, screenshots, fan art, and other user-generated content must respect copyrights and IP of others.
  • Malevolent Gaming reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules or is deemed inappropriate.

10. Compliance with Game-Specific Rules

  • Each MMO server has its own rules in addition to these community guidelines.
  • You are expected to follow both the general community rules and any game-specific rules while playing.

11. Consequences of Rule Violations

  • Warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans may be issued depending on severity.
  • Repeated or severe violations may result in removal from all Malevolent Gaming services, including Discord, forums, and game servers.

12. Continuous Updates

  • These rules may be updated at any time to improve community safety and fairness.
  • Continued participation in the community constitutes acceptance of the latest version of the rules.
